I'm rapidly approaching my twenty-second birthday. There is no college degree in my near future, since I haven't been to school in about three years. I still live at home, and I work for less than six dollars an hour at a movie theatre. I have less than thirty dollars in the bank until Thursday. I have a health problem that won't kill me but definitely complicates my life.
On the upside, none of that matters when I think about how awesome my friends are. |

So yeah, running KaZaA takes my computer's CPU usage up to about 80% on average. I don't get it.. I only have 231 files in my download queue, and only three of those will actually download at any given time. Go figure, I guess. But I mean, come on.. where else am I supposed to get old-school banned Looney Tunes and other non-PC cartoons?
Finished Kingdom Hearts last night. Awesome, awesome game. I already can't wait for the sequel to come out. And so, seeing as how I always make sure I'm prepared and have another new game all ready to be played as soon as I finish the current one, I started Final Fantasy VIII today. I'm likin' it so far. It's a bit slow right now, but I'm figuring that's just because it's so early in the game and my characters are at such low levels (Squall's only a level 10). On that note, Dan's going to bring FFIII/VI over sometime and install it on my computer. Until then, he's letting me play it on his computer, and he'll bring along my save file when he brings the game. All I have to say is it's about damn time I finally started playing these games. I've been meaning to for the longest time, but.. ah, well, I'll finish that thought later.
For the record, yeast infections suck. And the treatments suck, too. I'd go into more detail, but I doubt anyone's interested.
I think the only reason I got this journal was for the friends list.. |
